Red Calla Lilly

Posted by Patrick McNally Hawaii (Molokai Hawaii, United States) on 1 November 2012 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

White Calla Lillies grow wild in upcountry Maui, but the red are rarely seen in the wild. The plant originally comes from Africa, named Varkoor there, which means "pig's ear". Photo by Patrick McNally Molokai Hawaii.
